If so, how can we prevent this?")* Yes. Only frontend_default.css is overwritten when you update/upgrade HikaShop. If you edit the css via our interface in the config under the tab display, it creates a separate file and use it instead of the default one. That way, you won't loose your modifications when you update/upgrade.
