"Status" should not be required if you don't have shipping and only one payment method. You should add "payment" in your checkout workflow. I still have the same problem though. All settings are as you advise. The checkout workflow is now "cart_fields_payment,end" but the "next" button does not take us to paypal. I've tried with and without a Shipping method in the back end. Thanks! To be clear, we just want to use HikaShop as a front end to Paypal payment. So I just need a working cart and for it to take the user to paypal from there. When I add a product to the cart it doesn't work. That means that there is a database issue on your website. You need to turn on the debug mode of the joomla configuration in order to get the error message at that time. We cannot do it with the access that you provided. The cart is working now after the reinstall but I can't get the shop to take me to Paypal for payment. Any ideas / help appreciated. This is getting really urgent now.
