Please try to activate the debug mode in Joomla and to display the php error logs (setting the "error reporting" to "development"). It should help you to display the error in the page and not getting a white page without any information. With the error message, we would be able to understand the problem and fix it. The other solution is to read your PHP error log. But you might have to contact your web hosting for that. That limit of 24M is quite low.
