My client wants to show two different text. Something like this for the checkbox: I accept the Terms and Conditions...... And then something else as the error message because it would be strange to show "I accept the Terms and Conditions...." as an error. I thought maybe add something like PLEASE_ACCEPT_TERMS_BEFORE_FINISHING_ORDER_ERROR_MSG. Or if there is another way that would be good too. Thanks. For the moment, you can override the view "frontend | your_frontend_template | checkout | term" and change the code Code: $text = JText::_('PLEASE_ACCEPT_TERMS_BEFORE_FINISHING_ORDER'); With Code: $text = JText::_('PLEASE_ACCEPT_TERMS_BEFORE_FINISHING_ORDER_MSG'); and then create a new entry in your HikaShop language override. It will be easier for the moment to override the translation key which display in the checkout page than the error message displayed.
