Hello

Using Joomla 3.2

Does Hikashop have a way to incorporate Amazon affiliate program. That is, can Hikashop list products using the Amazon Affiliate id and have people order it?

I have a feeling the answer is "No", based on a quick search of the forum.

I guess because the payments would go through the customer's Amazon account (rather than through anything with Hikashop) the Hikashop the Hikashop would have to be more like a "Catalog" without any payment system connected.

So it would be only amazon affiliate items, using an Amazon affiliate html or similar linking. The Hikashop customer would see the various Amazon products listed for sale, and then click on the item -- and do the rest of the ordering process via Amazon, with the payment arrangement made through the customer's Amazon account.

Any thoughts about such an implementation?

Thanks!

Hi Rowby,
There is not option to do that, so the only way will be to directly edit the code of Hikashop but some development skills will be required.
Also, regarding what you have to send to Amazon a solution can be to add a button through your product description which will redirect them to the amazon platform.
