However, captcha can easily be solved by robots too nowadays: [ www.perimeterx.com/resources/blog/2020/c...ges%20or%20processes](https://www.perimeterx.com/resources/blog/2020/captchas-hard-for-humans-easy-for-bots/#:~:text=CAPTCHA%20is%20an%20acronym%20for,accessing%20sensitive%20pages%20or%20processes). So I'm afraid there is not much you can do. There are many "anti spam" plugins for Joomla: [ extensions.joomla.org/tags/spam-protection/](https://extensions.joomla.org/tags/spam-protection/) But most of them are for the registration form only. You have this one which apparently can be added to any form: [ extensions.joomla.org/extension/access-a...ecurity/ospam-a-not/](https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/access-a-security/site-security/ospam-a-not/) But I've never tried it so I can't say for sure that it would work for the contact form, and even if you add it, it doesn't mean that it will prevent all your spam either. I will check the solutions you mention, and try to accept the fact that spam will never be banned 100%.
