I choose Hikashop because it seemed well developed but the serious bug that has this component doesn't allow me to use. Probably great for hobby e-commerce or test development but totally inappropriate for professional activities. I'm very disappointed because I believe to test free version and the to purchase the commercial version , but it's from 1-2 month that I'm spending much time to try to understand as works and setting. A real shame. Since I use Jommla I have never given a score of 1 but this time I think I will. I will return to Jooshopping, whereas there are no alternatives if the developer needs help (Italian translation) I can help (free) but the judgment remains this... unfortunately. The 'tax' is already added to the cost of the goods. The prices are showing correctly in the products but the CART is showing the prices MINUS the GST component then adding it at the bottom of the cart. This is not correct for VAT usage. Oddly enough, the email that is sent out is showing all of this CORRECTLY! But, HikaShop creates errors when installing on the following platform: Windows Server 2008 R2, Joomla 2.5.4, Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (SQLExpress). Has HikaShop been tested/proven on MSSQL? Or was this not part fo your Joomla 2.5 compliance testing? From the best of my knowledge, the database installation/uninstallation scripts are currently written for MySQL. An alternative set of scripts need to be written for MSSQL. Your install/uninstall processes should either detect the database type currenty in use (there's a Joomla PHP Configuration item for the database type) or allow the user to select which type to use during installation. Fixing these scripts and tweaking the installation process to check the database type should not require more than 1-3 business days of coding. Please let me know the status of HikaShop's support for MSSQL.
