Have searched forums but no exact answer. Both clients want to stay away from the login/registration process as it scares people away. Client number 1 only uses paypal as his payment option. He can get all the customers shipping details from paypay. Once a customer to his website has their items, and proceeds to checkout, it goes straight to the paypal secure payment page. Payment gets made and he ships using the paypal address on the customers paypal info. Can be done? Client 2 only takes credit card payments. He needs shipping info, but no registration. When his customer has their products in the cart and hits proceed to checkout is it possible to only have shipping address and credit card option (already opened and ready to insert number). Once this is complete, there is only the one button that says pay now. These details are then sent to the client and he uses the information to take payment using his merchant account with card swipe on the counter and shipping details. Perhaps i am not understanding the system that is set up, but it just seems like to many steps which may scare customers away. Is there a real streamline way of getting payments? Thanks.") I have searched a while for the cookie creation in the HikaShop and couldnt find it, i can set the cookie far back at a different web site or set a cookie and then search for that cookie in the HikaShop. I see the HikaShop "login form" module, seems to integrate with the standard Joomla "login form" which is great! I have created a products menu in which I have created HikaShop, on the left hand side (Beez position 7) I have also the "login form" so users can easily login when in the products section. My dilemma is this: - If a new user views the products before registering they may try click on a product and try add it to a cart, HikaShop automatically loads the log in/ registration form. my page will display both the Joomla Login form on the LHS as well as the HikaShop login form. this can be a bit confusing as they are now duplicated and they look slightly different. To resolve this I am thinking of: - Is it possible to just display the registration section without the login form? as I already have the login on LHS. If so how do I do this? Or is there a better way altogether? There is no cart update button to select to trigger the update. Even a graphic of an update button is all that is necessary to get the customer to click on it away from the quantity box. Customers have to select "next" hoping it will work out or back out to get the correct prices to match the quantity. Why cause customers stress trying to get the cart to update to the correct totals?? Can something be done to resolve this. However as we have discovered the real world is not so. We are testing uploading 16000 products from a supplier. The product code given is often repeated for the same type of product i.e. all chrome vanadium ring spanners of different sizes have the same product code.
