We have 3 main shipping zones: UK, Europe and World. I guess this is a feature request :blush: : It would be extremely helpful, if, when adding a new product, there was an area for configuring shipping price for that item. so, I would select the 1st shipping zone and add its price, then second and add its price and then third and so on. I can see the main arguements against this idea so what I suggest is that if shipping prices are added when a new product is added then these override the default shipping prices configured, otherwise, the default shipping prices apply. Just as many others I have been testing several E-Commerce "solutions" for more than over a week. None of them really did what one can expect from such a component or not on all points. VirtueMart is another story, but to complicated to setup and I had many errors. Hikashop is a breath of fresh air even though it takes a lot of time but finally it works and support is fast and accurate. After almost two weeks testing I am already at the point that the shop can be used for ordering. Need to do some minor translations and customization but that will be no problem for me I guess. Otherwise I will check again here or post a new message. But there's one thing, it looks more like a feature request. My client would like the products/items in one category showed as a list so that orders can be made very quick and visitors don't have to click several times to add an item to the cart. One of the reasons why I chose Hikashop was because visitors stay on the page after they added an item to the cart. But online shopping would even be more simple if something like this could be created. The meaning is that all items/products in one category are on one page and that a customer can fill in the number of each item he or she wants to buy. The idea is this: And if possible one add to cart button per page for each category. I have tried a component before Hikashop: IPrice calculator see for a demo The idea itself and the slider effect to display a product picture are really great. Unfortunately the developper does not reply to questions anymore. If something like that could be implemented as an extra standard option for a Content Module in HikaShop without hacking some viewing code you would have an ultimate killer app. Or maybe you could give me some clues how to adjust one of the View files (which one?) and which fields do I have to use? Or maybe you could write a new PHP file for me with table tags so that I can insert the script for the slider option? Additionally, after a transaction is completed, and PayPal accepted the full $24.94, in the backend of HikaShop it shows that the Sale is only for the product amount, $19.99. I haven't removed the shipping configuration from PayPal yet, because that PayPal account also accepts orders from other sources than just this website, so I can't just assign shipping via HikaShop. Are there any additional settings or code tweaks that could improve this communication between HikaShop and PayPal, or will I need to assign shipping in HikaShop and connect it to a different PayPal account without shipping configurations? It is going to be on a site that sells Music (mp3 and score) by different composer and in a particular category (e.g. the type of tune). I want the customers to be able to search through the menus using any of these three variables. E.g. they can get a list of composers and go through them, or a list of tunes, or a list of the type of tune. It was easy setting it up so far to get people able to navigate through 2 of the 3 (type of tune = category, tune name = product), is there somewhere I can make the composer another variable so I can setup navigational searches through composer names? I have looked through a lot of your forums and found a lot of useful information, and I hope that this makes sense and someone could help me find a solution. Cheers!! I'm currently testing a first install on a Joomla 1.6.1 Site. Everything is working great exept for one thing. We currently have one product in the shop priced at £ 15,85. For testing purposes I have created a discount coupon £ 14,85. When I apply the coupon code in the code on check-out it subtracts properly so that the final price shown is £ 00,10. When I click next to go PayPal the amount shown there is the full £ 15,95 however. So the "final total" is not passed on to PayPal. Shipping costs, on the other hand, are properly passed on to PayPal. Do you have any advice?
