I have purchased the essential version. Sooo easy to modify in the views and custom css thanks a million. I've updated to version 1.4.7 and my emails no longer have the partial credit card numbers. It's the same for the order history. Is this something to do with the credit card payment plug-in? This is the only way my client wishes to process his orders. I've attached my emails and backend before and after. The visa numbers are from a visa card test number site so the info isn't sensitive. I will be installing an SSL certificate as well once this last little problem is taken card of for extra security. Thanks for any help. I had a quick look at the pricing for the upgraded versions, so I can think about if I can swing that in the future and I had a couple questions. first it says: $166.07 ($138.86 without VAT) per unit I am in the US and don't really know much about VAT, do we have to pay that? what are the final US prices? also a suggestion: maybe you could offer your affiliate payment towards purchase of upgraded editions. and also maybe as time goes on and this catches on a bit maybe offer people who participate with positive solutions on the forum for others some small credit also towards purchase of upgraded editions. also maybe some "sales" so those who are here often (and encourage other to do so) will have to get it at a reduced rate. However, having just made a simple corporate site for the time being, I'm now faced with creating an online sales site for it's subsidiary. I'm wondering if Joomla/HikaShop is the way to go? (I have heard about many problems that people currently have with VirtueMart, btw) Basically, if all I need is a shop, are there any advantages over having HikaShop instead of going with ZenCart? Since I'm familiar with Joomla, I am definitely leaning towards Hika, but I'm wondering if something like ZenCart offers advantages for a full shop over what Hika can do? I also read that you don't have any Chinese translations yet, which may be a slight problem, but since we have many people working at the subsidiary in China, perhaps they can translate it and I could post that if they do. Also, I played around with the currencies, but I don't see how exchange rates can be updated automatically, or is it done by hand? Thanks for any questions and, rest assured, I am very impressed with Hika (free version) so far. :) I just wanted to ask some basic questions before I choose a system in the next few weeks for my boss. At the moment, Hikashop seems to register a user before they have paid for the item. Ideally I would like it so only customers who have bought anything are in my Joomla userbase. At the moment you can fill in the registration form and click register even if the credit card field has not been entered (most shops don't work like this) Please let me know if theres any workaround, Many thanks for your time.
