We're brand new to Hikashop Business and Hikamarket Multivendor. Out of the box, it has way more features than we had anticipated. We're very excited to get this going. One thing we noticed was the option for badges and we immediately thought of Gamification. As it turns out, the badges are badges in more of a literal sense (i.e., an image of a badge over a product)... which is still very cool, but does not gamify the user experience. I was wondering if any of you out there have any experience Gamifying an e-commerce site and what was your experience with it? Has anyone Gamfied a Hikashop site? Is the gamification concept as it pertains to e-commerce a good idea, or is it just a gimmicky marketing ploy? Food for thought. I'm not sure if a gamification plugin for Hikashop is worth development time, but I think there is definitely a market for it. In any case, there's enough out of the box with this product to keep me busy for a long time. It's great stuff. That's all.") When I set the "Allow" field to "Only future dates" it still allows the user to select todays date. Possibly it is based on time rather than date? Is there a way to set this to be today's date +1 day? 2. When I set the format to show as "Friday, 10-Jan-2014" using %D, %d-%M-%Y with Only future dates selected the front end gives an error "Please select a date in the future". Is there a way to set the format to display the long date when using the Only future dates value? But this made the pop up box return a 404 error. So I deleted those two menu items, set up an article page called "Your shopping cart" in menu and then activated the Hikashop cart module and assigned it to that page. This is fine and in the end gives good results. I see you are correct regarding the CSS issue as the pop up box looks fine in the Protostar default Joomla template. I have created the template in Artisteer, so I will try to find out a solution there as it's not an issue with Hikashop. Thanks again for your reply, it was really helpful. Ideally, I envision a combo box presenting valid order quantities, such as: 250 500 1000 2500 5000 ...the standard "+" and "-" buttons would not be presented when only specific quantities are valid. I found a post where it appears the intended functionality could be implemented with considerable modification: www.hikashop.com/forum/4-how-to/82422-qu...vascript.html#105072 However, I wouldn't want to modify core code and potentially have to modify with each release of Hikashop. We considered adding duplicate products with the quantity being a package price. In this scenario, instead of ordering 250, the customer would order quantity 1 of "package of 250". But even that wouldn't work as there are increments our supplier doesn't offer. Using the same scenario, we could not present "package of 1,000" because the customer might order 2 packages, and the total quantity of 2,000 isn't offered by our supplier. Is there any chance this type of functionality / control may be implemented in Hikashop at some point?") The error also ocurrs when I use the defauld invoice.php file. It seems that the invoice is currently calculated like in this example: 8,26440 x 21% = 1,7355=1,74 The correct way would be to use 3,00 as base. 8,26 x 21% = 1,7346=1,73 What do I need to modify to fix this error?
