In the first screenshot we can see that the "Zone restriction" is grey, which mean that you already have the area available. In the second screenshot, we can see the Zone Restriction area, including the namebox which allow you to select a zone. Please note that if you save the restriction with the "None" value, it will disable the restriction which won't be displayed on the refresh. Your first screenshot is coming from the HikaShop backend where the admin can see all products ; while the second screenshot is from the front-end with a vendor and it's restrictions (since it cannot see products of other vendors). Now regarding the fact that the namebox did not have the parameter to let select variants ; it can be an improvement in the future release. But it's actually not a bug or a regression since there was not modification for that part with the previous versions.
