Be sure that the vendor have some products and check the categories where the products are. Then, you can modify the product listing module in order to checks the "Associated category" and "Sub elements filter" settings. You have to select a base category which contains the products and you have to use a filter like "all sub elements" in order to be sure that you will display some products.
