Permit to edit just some categories

Hello,

is it possible to permit to the vendors to edit the details of certain category without permit to edit other categories. Because I know that it`s possible to set the vendor root category, but if I select the specific category that I want to permit to edit after in the vendor configuration panel the vendor can`t edit the category. To permit to the vendor to edit the category I have to select the main category, but in this case the vendor can edit and see all the categories. There is a solution for this?

Hello,

Only the usage of the vendor root allow such kind of restriction.
Because that root indicate which category belong to the vendor and he has the right to edit that category and the children.
Otherwise, the vendor would have access to the entire tree.
And adding some ACL to indicate which category can be edit by whom ; would be a nightmare of configuration and I don't even know how could be an interface for the settings.

I bypassed the problem with the creation of a category for each vendor and permit the vendors to edit just the elements under this category
