But you can easily convert the tar.gz into a zip with compression tools like for example 7-zip: [ www.7-zip.org/](http://www.7-zip.org/) Please [Log in](/login?return=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuaGlrYXNob3AuY29tL2ZvcnVtLzI1LWluc3RhbGwtdXBkYXRlLzg2NTE1OS1uZWVkLXRvLWRvd25sb2FkLXppcC1maWxlLW5vdC10YXItZ3otZmlsZT90bXBsPW1hcmtkb3du) or [Create an account](/component/users/registration?Itemid=101) to join the conversation. - **[ButtercupWD](/forum/user/30776-buttercupwd "View ButtercupWD's Profile")** - [![ButtercupWD's Avatar](https://www.hikashop.com/media/kunena/core/svg/person.svg)](/forum/user/30776-buttercupwd "View ButtercupWD's Profile") Topic Author - [ Offline](/forum/user/30776-buttercupwd) Less More - Posts: 2 - Thank you received: 0 - - 12 years 9 months ago [\#140450](#140450) by [ButtercupWD](/forum/user/30776-buttercupwd "View ButtercupWD's Profile") Replied by *[ButtercupWD](/forum/user/30776-buttercupwd "View ButtercupWD's Profile")* on topic *[Need to download zip file....not tar.gz file](/forum/25-install-update/865159-need-to-download-zip-file-not-tar-gz-file#140450 "When trying to download the free version of HikaShop I am only given a tar.gz file. But I am receiving the following error:JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file Please [Log in](/login?return=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuaGlrYXNob3AuY29tL2ZvcnVtLzI1LWluc3RhbGwtdXBkYXRlLzg2NTE1OS1uZWVkLXRvLWRvd25sb2FkLXppcC1maWxlLW5vdC10YXItZ3otZmlsZT90bXBsPW1hcmtkb3du) or [Create an account](/component/users/registration?Itemid=101) to join the conversation. - **[nicolas](/forum/user/63-nicolas "View nicolas's Profile")** - [![nicolas's Avatar](https://www.hikashop.com/media/kunena/avatars/resized/size144/users/avatar63.png)](/forum/user/63-nicolas "View nicolas's Profile") - [ Away](/forum/user/63-nicolas) Less More - Posts: 86293 - Thank you received: 14271 - - 12 years 9 months ago [\#140474](#140474) by [nicolas](/forum/user/63-nicolas "View nicolas's Profile") Replied by *[nicolas](/forum/user/63-nicolas "View nicolas's Profile")* on topic *[Need to download zip file....not tar.gz file](/forum/25-install-update/865159-need-to-download-zip-file-not-tar-gz-file#140474 "When trying to download the free version of HikaShop I am only given a tar.gz file. An installation via FTP should be able to circumvent that error: [ www.hikashop.com/support/support/documen...-to-install.html#ftp](http://www.hikashop.com/support/support/documentation/59-hikashop-how-to-install.html#ftp) Please [Log in](/login?return=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuaGlrYXNob3AuY29tL2ZvcnVtLzI1LWluc3RhbGwtdXBkYXRlLzg2NTE1OS1uZWVkLXRvLWRvd25sb2FkLXppcC1maWxlLW5vdC10YXItZ3otZmlsZT90bXBsPW1hcmtkb3du) or [Create an account](/component/users/registration?Itemid=101) to join the conversation.
