Went to extension manager and did search for "hikashop ".... nothing came up. Went to phpMyAdmin and did a search for "hikashop"... nothing came up Went to phpMyadmin and executed: DELETE FROM `jngfy_menu` WHERE link LIKE '%com_hikashop%'; DELETE FROM jngfy_extensions WHERE element = 'com_hikashop'; DELETE FROM jngfy_assets WHERE name='com_hikashop'; Result: # MySQL returned an empty result set (i.e. zero rows). So back to square one, still not able to install hikashop. Sure enough there was HikaShop in my components and modules folder. Deleted all of those and install worked fine.
