I want to configure Hikashop so that it requires the absolutely minimum information for a user to enter when registering. I also do not want the "authorisation" email to be generated or required. The reason behind this is that the website I'm setting up is purely for allowing users to build "wishlist" of items and not to actually purchase the items. Regards Greg")* Hi, The "authorisation" email is a Joomla part, in Joomla Users menu, click on the toolbar button "option" and here change the value for the activation method. Another way to do what you want can be to simply use the standard checkout, but use a payment method like, "save my order". This way the customers can create order and you can manage them via the backend interface. Regards Greg")* Thanks Xavier You mention that I could use the "Standard checkout but use a payment method like "save my order"....can you explain how to set this up so that I can see how it works? Also, when using "wishlists", if I have added 5 items to the wishlist and then wish to send the wishlist via email to a specific email address, how can I do this? It appears that when I use the "Share" option and select "email" all it does is provide me with a link that I then need to copy and paste into an actual email. My preferred method would be to have a "email" icon next to the "print, save back" icons. When it is clicked, it would display an email address that has been specified in the Hikashop configuration options (the user could change this if needed at this point) and then press a "send" button and an email would be automatically generated containing all of the items on the wishlist... Is this possible? Also, how do I get rid of the "cart name" field on the "wishlist" form in the front end? Regards Greg")* Hi, To use a "Standard checkout", the customer just use the common cart to add their products, and when checking out he can be able to select a payment method like "save my order" (which should be created by you). This method will allow to place the order, but don't require any payments. So thanks to your administrator interface, you can see the orders past, and manage them. In the order details, you have the customer details, the products added, etc... Then, you can edit the order, add, remove products, change their prices, and set another payment method in order to allow the customer to pay his order. Regarding the wishlists, the email form has not yet been implemented. Originally the wishlists are used to be shared between customers, so there is no default email address for the email option. That's why at this time only a link is given, and this link can be shared. So for your needs, it will require some custom code.
