I am trying to install the zip package Later I unzipped the package into it's own folder and tried to install from the tab 'Install from folder' and got the 2nd message. You can ask your hosting company to increase them and then it should work. The second message indicates that either you didn't provide the correct folder for the install from folder process, or that you didn't upload all the files and folders of the install package in the folder that you specified (you need to extract the files on your local computer and then upload them to the tmp folder, if you upload the zip in the tmp folder, it won't work). Is that I should install the extracted files? Can I change the path? You can change the folder as well, as long as Joomla can access the files in there it will work. I managed to download the zipped file to the necessary temp folder, unzipped, changed the path, crossed my fingers and voila! All done. Many thanks.
