The system tries it's best to migrate the data. However, the structure of VirtueMart changes based on the versions and if you have modifications in VirtueMart, it's even more complex. So having a generic import system work for all the cases perfectly is difficult. Actually, we've had someone working on a VM migration for one of our clients last months and he has added some patches to it, so it might help you. He is actually in vacation and will come back next week. So if you can send a message again on Tuesday, he should be able to provide some patches so that the migration would work better in different cases. These patches will also be included in the next version of HikaShop.
