Add a category to my shop, add the fee as a product and it adds itself as an item to the cart, but then I need it to a second or sub-category appears with the options associated with that one product. (Is there a way to have a category of items appear when another product is selected, and if it is not selected it does not appear? Or, my second thought.. 2. Have the shop check to see when a product from that category is selected that the fee is added to the cart. But this fee is only added to a certain category of products and not the rest. I don't know if this can be accomplished or not? Could it be?")* Hi, I am not really sure of what you what to do exactly but for I understood, the best will be to use a custom plugin. Using the "order additional" you can add fees to an order, in the same way that the plugin "alpha user points" (and "user points") can create discounts (but using a negative value). I think that is the best way to create a unique fee depending on several items in the cart. Otherwise, the most of configuration you will be able to do will be product specific.
