In order to display them in the cart products listing of the checkout, you will have to edit the file "cart" of the view "checkout and add such code : <?php echo $row->CUSTOM_FIELD_COLUMN_NAME; ?> (where CUSTOM_FIELD_COLUMN_NAME is to be replaced with the column name of your custom field) after the line: <?php echo $row->product_name; ?> Please [Log in](/login?return=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuaGlrYXNob3AuY29tL2ZvcnVtLzI2LXByb2R1Y3QtY2F0ZWdvcnktZGlzcGxheS84NjgwMDMtcGxhY2Utc2hvcnQtZGVzY3JpcHRpb24taW4tdGhlLXByb2R1Y3Qtb3ZlcnZpZXc/dG1wbD1tYXJrZG93bg==) or [Create an account](/component/users/registration?Itemid=101) to join the conversation. - **[ff87](/forum/user/30751-ff87 "View ff87's Profile")** - [![ff87's Avatar](https://www.hikashop.com/media/kunena/core/svg/person.svg)](/forum/user/30751-ff87 "View ff87's Profile") Topic Author - [ Offline](/forum/user/30751-ff87) Less More - Posts: 27 - Thank you received: 0 - - 12 years 5 months ago [\#155135](#155135) by [ff87](/forum/user/30751-ff87 "View ff87's Profile") Replied by *[ff87](/forum/user/30751-ff87 "View ff87's Profile")* on topic *[Place short description in the product overview](/forum/26-product-category-display/868003-place-short-description-in-the-product-overview#155135 "Hi there, I would like to create a custom field called "short description" in which I have to be able to add individual descriptions for each product. I just checked and the line <?php echo $row->product_name; ?> is present in the view "checkout / cart" as I said earlier. If you don't have it, it's probably because the view had already been edited, or because you have an old version of HikaShop. The problem was the browser searching tool, it hasn´t done its jop properly. Anyway, you´re right of course. Many thanks!
