Any idea where I can turn on this feature or what is wrong?")* In the backend, under -> Display -> Content menus (or modules), open the config of the menus (or modules) in question. There, on the right side under 'Parameters for products', you have most likely the parameter 'Link to the product page' set to 'No'. Set it to 'Yes', then save, and all should be good. (BTW, cool idea, your Whatupbox, hope it's going well!
