Custom Fields for products was created by CMS-Buttler
-- HikaShop version -- : HikaShop Essential 2.3.3
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.3.
-- PHP version -- : 5.4.30
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Firefox 32

Hello Support team,

im trying to set up a field for diameter. I wannt it to appear in the products like lenght and highth and so on.

I have published the new, but i cant see the new field anywhere.

Hello,
To do that a solution can be to create 2 Item custom fields which are only available through the business version.

You'll have to create them via "Hikashop->Display->Custom fields" and set their "Table" option to Item.

Hi,

It seems mohamed didn't understand your question. If you want a field to work like the "weight", "width", etc fields, you want to create a custom field of the table "product" and not of the table "item". The custom fields of the table "product" will display on the product edition page on the backend while the custom fields of the table "item" will display on the product details page on the frontend.

Hi,

The only thing which could cause this problem is the restriction on the category.
Is that your main product category, or at least the parent category of the products which must have a diameter ?

Hi,

What is "no success" ?
The configuration of your product custom field looks good (except for the category part where we can't know if it is really good or not).
But, if the category is right, you should be able to see the custom field in the HikaShop backend and then, in the front-end for the products which have the custom field and which have a value for the custom field.

Hi,

Edit the file show_block_custom_main via the menu Display>Views, cut all the code from it and paste it in the show_block_dimensions file and you'll get the custom field right below the dimensions area.
And you remove the specification text, you can use some simple CSS to hide it:
.hikashop_product_custom_info_main h4{ display: none; }

Hi,

If you got a blank screen it means that you have a PHP fatal error.
Please check your PHP error log or activate the error reporting in your Joomla global configuration.

Hello,
Did you check your PHP error log ? Also can you activate the error reporting in your Joomla global configuration so that we can have more information about the error that you are having ?
