If you already had that product image before setting up your watermark, it's normal that you don't see the watermark on the image. So delete and add again the image to the product and that should do it. So if the main image doesn't have the watermark and you delete the thumbnails, the system will recreate the thumbnails from the main image without the watermark on them. In case of applying a watermark at a later point in time (as in the OP's case), or for mass imports of products and their images, or after the the slightest change of thumb dimensions in the system configuration (as maybe in @verzevouls's case), the watermark feature becomes completely useless, no matter if it's about 5 or 5,000 images. So, yes, it's mandatory for watermarking to work every time thumbs are being generated, not only on initial upload. The "original" image, eventually "resized on upload", is a different animal, of course -- obviously that'll have to remain as per initial upload, unless (mass-)replaced e.g. after some external (batch) processing. Anyway, Nicolas & Co, unless you can think of an easy alternative way, please make watermarking part of any thumb generation -- thank you. --- Need help with customisations of layouts, style or other site development? Just download all the images from the images folder via FTP, add the watermark with batch processing with xnconvert and upload them back. Finally, delete the thumbnails folder and HikaShop will recreate all the thumbnails from the original images with the watermark when needed. Regarding having the possibility to add the watermark when the thumbnail is generated, it's possible to change the behavior in a future improvement. It's noted on our end already. We need to have some kind of flag though so that people who already have the watermark on the main image don't get a double watermark on their thumbnails. It's that much of a priority since you can circumvent the problem with tools like xnconvert. if you setup the watermark after uploading the images, and if you setup first the watermark, then it doesn't change anything.
