By default, HikaShop comes with a "related products" module instance of the "HikaShop content module" pre created and already selected in the "Modules under the product page" setting. This allows for the display of a listing of the products selected in the "Related products" setting of the products. What's likely is that this module instance has been repurposed for the listings instead of creating a new instance.
