Client makes leather goods. shipping is fairly simple. shipping is $5 flat rate for all items (except fez cases) unless they go to mexico or canada then it's $10. Fez Case shipping is $25 unless to mexico or canada then its $40. so, basically, no matter how many items are in the cart the shipping should be $5 unless to mex or can then $10 OR if they order a fez case, in which case it would be $25 or $40 accordingly. what I can't seem to do is configure it so that if the user has a fez case in the cart, it will only use the fez case shipping method. The users should have no options as far as shipping. the system needs to determine the cost based on items purchased. I have some methods set up with zones to determine the mexico/canada issue (see attached). what i can't seem to do is display a single shipping price based on items in the cart. hopefully this makes sense. if not, i can elaborate. Then, in the shipping methods for the other products, set a maximum volume setting so that it is inferior to the volume of a fez product. That way, these shipping methods will only display on the checkout if no fez product is in the cart. Then, for the fez shipping methods, set a minimum volume setting inferior to the volume of a fez product. That way, these fez shipping methods will only display on the checkout if at least one fez product is in the cart. And then keep the zone restrictions like you did. It should work like you want with all that. You've configured warehouses and assigned the products to different warehouses. So the products are being grouped into the different warehouses on the checkout, and each group gets its own set of shipping methods to be selected among. Remove the selection of the warehouses in your products and delete the warehouses and it should work properly. However, I went in and used weight instead of volulme and it WORKS. SO, site is working as expected! thanks Nicolas.
