Hello, I'm new here and also new to HikaShop.
The search function isn't working optimally, so I'm starting a new topic.

I'm still trying to understand how shipping costs work.

Maybe I haven't installed or configured everything correctly?

I'd like to offer products with shipping costs and product vouchers (which will be sent by mail) without shipping costs.

I'm just not getting it. I've spent hours reading, testing, and trying, and I'm afraid I'll end up messing things up so much that I won't be able to figure it out at all.

Are shipping costs specified through delivery methods? I've done that. It's working well.
I've also specified a free delivery method, but I can't seem to get it to apply to my product vouchers.

Can I get some help? I would really appreciate it.

I hope I've provided all the necessary information.

Hi,

You don't actually need a free shipping method for your vouchers.
Set a weight in the other products, and don't set a weight for your voucher products.
Make sure that the "force shipping regardless of weight" setting is turned off in the HikaShop configuration.
And you can disable that free shipping method.

During the checkout, if the cart only has voucher products, then the shipping address won't be asked and the shipping method selection won't appear. If the cart has other products, then the shipping methods will appear and the user will have to provide / select a shipping address.

Vielen Dank

Thank you very much for your help. I've deactivated the coupon for now. That should work for sure.
Later on, I'll need to set up the coupons for download, so I'll have to read up on that as well.

Thank you
