Both of your patterns open with a # but never close it, so PHP rejects the pattern as invalid and the shipping method is then hidden for every address, which is the "every single address does not work anymore" you're seeing. The other thing to know is how the field is evaluated: the method is kept only when the postcode matches the pattern. So it is an "allow" test, which means your negative-lookahead idea (allow everything except the islands) is exactly the right approach, it just needs the closing delimiter. Based on the postcodes you listed (1791-1797, 8880-8889, 8890-8891), this works: It matches any 4-digit postcode that does not start with one of those island ranges, and it does not care about the trailing letters (like 1234 AB), so it works whether or not the letters are stored in the address. Put it on your Netherlands shipping method and the island postcodes will no longer be offered that method. USPS Plugin Setup: * Origin ZIP: 81326 (Durango, CO area) * Service selected in plugin: USPS Ground Advantage only * Price Type: Commercial * Group Packages: Yes * Packaging weight: 0 oz, Weight approximation: 0% * Product dimensions entered per unit (e.g., a single jar: 4" × 3" × 3", 1.02 lb) The problem — likely dimensional weight: Product dimensions are entered per individual unit in HikaShop. For a multi-unit order (e.g., 12 jars), I believe the plugin packs N items using those per-unit dimensions and selects the smallest box from the configured box list that fits them. Our box sizes: * Small: 12" × 10" × 12" (1,440 ci) — used for orders under 11 lbs * Medium: 16" × 14" × 16" (3,584 ci) — used for orders 11–32 lbs The USPS dimensional weight threshold is 1,728 cubic inches (volume ÷ 166 = billed weight). Our Small box (1,440 ci) stays under the threshold — no dimensional weight, billed at actual weight. Our Medium box (3,584 ci) is well above it — dimensional weight = 3,584 ÷ 166 = 21.6 lb billed weight, even if the actual package weighs only 8–9 lbs. Cross-referenced with real shipment data: I exported 60 days of Click-N-Ship history (37 labels, all USPS Ground Advantage). Does it sum per-unit volumes and find the smallest fitting box, or use a different algorithm? * Does the plugin compute and send a dimensional weight to the USPS API when the selected box exceeds 1,728 ci? Or does it always send actual weight? * Is there a way to set a fixed box size per product (rather than having the plugin compute from per-unit dimensions) so it always requests the rate for the box the shipper actually uses? * Is the plugin currently using the new USPS API? I saw a March 2025 forum thread where Nicolas mentioned a new plugin was being developed to replace the old Web Tools API (retired January 25, 2026). That points at a missing schema element or an incomplete plugin extension record (null params / empty manifest_cache), which fits an update that could not finish cleanly on a database that was as damaged as yours was. Three steps, in order: a) Get the exact location. So right now in the country zone "Greece" there are all the states as Hikashop had them added by default but i have 2 shipping methods (one for Attiki and one for Greece). As a result in the checkout page, when the user's state is not Attiki they only see the Greece shipping method which is correct BUT when the user's state is Attiki they see both shpping methods (for Attiki and for Greece) which is not correct.
