Looks like I'm going to get to do so again... In Hikashop plugin form this time! I figure I can use the existing 'Pro' as a template. I'm going to require some kind of recurring CC billing... which Payflow Pro supports... their regular 'Pro' gateway apparently does not. It may be easier/quicker for me to just use a different gateway, however... Does anybody know of a CC payment gateway that handles recurring billing (storing the CC data in the gateway)? P.S. It would be GREAT to have a feature that I would call an 'automated scheduled delivery' option in Hikashop. I have a need for my users to create a specific order, save it - and have that order processed and shipped to them every month. But again, that will require a development since the only recurring payment integration we did is for "PayPal recurring" at the moment. Your suggestion is interesting. That could be great as another extension which would plug itself to HikaShop in order to add that capability, like we did for HikaSerial or HikaMarket. I created a custom-built ecommerce system for a previous employer years ago that contained a feature like I suggested... We called it Autoship. Back then the only way to accomplish such a recurring order system was to store the CC number in the local DB and process the order at the scheduled time each month... Then came along came PCI Data Security Standards... The requirements (if you are storing CC numbers) are so burdensome as to be nearly impossible for a small shop to meet. Therefore it is helpful that payment gateways have more recently introduced features that allow a developer to keep the CC data in the gateway... making such a system feasible for lil ol' developers like me with limited time. If you folks build such an add-on for Hikashop - you'll likely have to integrate the payment plugins with one of these such gateways - like Payflow Pro - or Authorize.net.
