Under "Payment Method", I have two payment methods setup: HikaShop PayPal payment plugin & HikaShop credit card payment plugin. I'm having some issues with them. 1. In order to use a credit card I have to click on the text that says "Credit Card(click here to select this payment method), which will then display the credit card payment fields. If I do this, and enter my credit card information, on the bottom it still says "You chose the payment method: PayPal", and the payment method will only change to credit card once i click next and the page is refreshed, but then i have to enter my credit card info again. If i enter my credit card information the second time it will go through. How can I make it so that the credit card is selected as the payment method? ( I currently have it set so that the payment method is chosen automatically, because otherwise i can't even make a payment), and also so that I don't have to click on the text to display the credit card fields? 2. I read about how the credit card payment method works but I still don't understand it that well. Should I be using another plugin to take credit card payments, is there one that is free and very easy to use? Thank you so much! That way, the credit card form will display by default (you'll need to clear your user session first in order to see the change) 2. The credit card payment plugin is for you to collect the credit card information of the customer so that you can process them manually on your end with a payment terminal that you would have got from your bank. So it's a manual process. If you want something automatic, you need a contract with a payment gateway. Since you have PayPal, you already have one. People will be able to purchase with their credit card through PayPal on your website. So you don't necessarily need anything else actually. But you could for example contract with authorize.net. They have an AIM API that you can use and in that case, you directly have the credit card form on your checkout, like with the credit card payment plugin.
