That way, the payment method selector during the checkout will act as the selector and the screen at the end will only have the one funding you didn't disable for the selected payment method. I suppose you'll want to create a translation override of the "please select a payment method" to "click on the button button to access the payment page" or something so that it is clearer to your customers.
