I am unable to get the $ doller sign to appear before the price. I am mocking up a couple of sites, and i am able to get the $ sign to show in the other sites using the same settings. Also, when i add a product to the cart and i use the pop up display, i lose the colour of my proceed to checkout button. If i refresh the page, the colour re-appears. Please make sure that it's properly setup, like the default settings. For the cart button, that's because your template displays the style of buttons with javascript and not pure CSS. You have several options: deactivate the ajax refresh so that it does a full refresh of the page. Turn it off and it will work fine.
