I created a lot of fields for the order table and they all work perfectly. But, when I create a custom field for the product table they don't show up on the product page. The only thing that happens is a little text box comes up that says "Specifications" but there are no fields under it. What you want is to create custom fields of the table "item". If you want your users to be able to enter information for the product they are buying on its product page, then you need to create custom fields of the table "item". I have done two upgrades, to essential, and now to business. I already had my page modified and built with a custom template from the starter package. Is there any quicker way of communication with hikashop's support? perhaps phone, Chat? Also note, the way I am displaying the thumbnail of products is by having a menu of type category. The field will only display on the front end, if something was entered for it on the back end. Where else would you be looking for it ? The product custom fields are only displayed in two places on the front end: the product page the comparison table with the comparison system is activated. However, When ever I edit the Views, I have to go to the physical directory and find the file to edit. Because when ever I change the views within joomla/hikashop, it does not affect the website. its weird.
