Do you also know where and what to edit for the same effect in the backend Customers->Customers page? When I open the Customer page, in the Addresses pane, I also have the Telephone label. In the e-mail that is sent to the customer, the telephone label is also still visible. One for the frontend and one for the backend. So you need to edit both.
