Hello, i'm having this problem:

When i make a change in any view in the backend and i save it, automatically the code makes a strange thing, it puts this **\\** everywhere.
Here's an example: defined(**\\**'_JEXEC**\\**') or die(**\\**'Restricted access**\\**');

What happens then in the frontend is that it gives me this error:
**Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T\_ENCAPSED\_AND\_WHITESPACE, expecting T\_STRING in /home/tangram0/public\_html/Extensiones\_Demo/Joomla3/templates/protostar/html/com\_hikashop/product/show\_default.php on line 9**

I'll appreciate any help.

Hi,

That's because the magic_quote_gpc option of your PHP is turned on and that you're using Joomla 3.0
It is a requirement that this option is turned off for Joomla 3.0 installation. Please ask your hosting company to turn that off and it will work properly.
