And hikashopControllerViewTrait is actually useless, you can move getNewView() method into hikashopBridgeController class as it was before. As this is an internal class, we didn't think anyone would be using it and as we were only using it for compatibility between different versions of Joomla and we drop the support for older versions we had no use for it anymore. I've made the necessary changes on our end. It doesn't cost us anything anyways. You can download again the install package of the 6.6.0 on our website in order to get the modified version.
