That might explain why you get see the bootstrap support and responsiveness. So it is made out of divs unless you change the display layout to table in its settings. The carousel system is indeed an old design which wasn't made to be responsive. That's something we want to completely rewrite in the future. The cart is a list of things, and using a table to present its data seems just a normal use of tables.
