So if you want to override a controller, you need to develop a small system plugin for that. You can for example use what is explained in the summary here: [ docs.joomla.org/How\_to\_override\_the\_comp...rom\_the\_Joomla!\_core](https://docs.joomla.org/How_to_override_the_component_mvc_from_the_Joomla!_core) Or in the Example section with more details here: [ www.informit.com/articles/article.aspx?p=1858258&seqNum=8](http://www.informit.com/articles/article.aspx?p=1858258&seqNum=8) the only difference from the example is that you want to use components/com_hikashop/controllers/XXX.php instead of libraries/joomla/database/tablenested.php Please [Log in](/login?return=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuaGlrYXNob3AuY29tL2ZvcnVtLzMxLWRldmVsb3BtZW50Lzg4NjY1Mi1vdmVycmlkaW5nLWZpbGUtaW4taGlra2FzaG9wP3RtcGw9bWFya2Rvd24=) or [Create an account](/component/users/registration?Itemid=101) to join the conversation.
