You'll be able to control it through "Control panel->Global configuration->system->'New User Account Activation'" 2. You'll be able to control it by using for example the "User group after purchase" option through your product configuration page 3. And what setting would you suggest? Now it new Users get the group "registered.. You can set the activation to "none" to be directly registered or "self" to receive a confirmation link in an email. 2. The hikashop users can be only Joomla registered users as it's configured by default.
