The shop has been running for a while now and everything is okay, except that recently two orders came through that were sent to my husbands email address, but with different billing addresses and payapl payment that went through not from our account. How can that be? The users don't have to register, they can just shop, is that maybe when it picks up my husband's email address? So to clarifiy, the orders look as if they were coming from my husband, but they actually come from completely unrelated people. Any ideas? Thanks Anni")* Hi, HikaShop has only one setting for the PayPal email address that you can configure when you edit your PayPal payment method via the menu System>Payment methods. So I would first recommend to check that that you have the email address you want. If you got a payment coming in with a different email address, then the payment didn't came through HikaShop and you should not find an order for it in the orders listing of HikaShop. If you do, then the only option left is that someone modified the code of HikaShop on your website to send the payments somewhere else (and it could indicate that your website has been hacked if the payment was sent to a PayPal account you don't own).
