After product is cleared in defined time period our users are forwarded to an "empty-cart" page after trying to add new item in their cart. So in order to add new item in their cart customers have to log out from their accounts and log in back which is wrong. Please help us to solve this issue! Our cart settings are correct so apparently there is an error in your code! Even your Hikashop demo version (demo.hikashop.com) has the same problem! This is very urgent matter since we have launched our sales already and our customers are already able to purchase goods in our store but "cart retaining period" bug messes everything up! So in order...")* HikaShop Business: 2.2.3 Joomla 2.5 We have disabled caching in config->cache setting as well as in plugins->system-cache. But still no result. We put cart retaining period for 5 minute and after 5 minutes it seems that order has been deleted. But after order is deleted and you add other product to cart there is message "cart is empty" despite we have added new product into the cart. In hikashop config in field "Frequency of the check for the carts" what value we need to put if our cart retaining period is 5 minutes? So in order...")* Hi, The cart retaining period should be configured is days not in minutes. Its goal is not to remove the cart from the user session after a few minutes but to reduce the storage of the carts in the database in the long term. Its default value is 30 days and it is only checked when you go in the backend of HikaShop so it doesn't have to run often. That's why this problem doesn't occur normally since the cart retaining period is always longer than the user session and thus that cart empty issue cannot happen. Clearing carts after five minutes is not a good idea since your users will loose their cart after five minutes while they browse your website for a second product. So they might not even be able to go to the checkout before their cart is cleared.
