That's already the case by default. So if your order's status is not changed to "confirmed", it means that HikaShop is not receiving the payment notification from the payment gateway. So it cannot send the email since it doesn't know that the order has been paid. So the email will be sent when you will edit the order manually ; using the "order status notification" email or the "order notification" email depending how you will modify the order.
