So it would require the development of a small custom plugin to send that email when the waitlist item is added. How do i set up an additional cron job (In addition to the one that is already running which processes the waitlist fulfilled messages) to call the url of the article? If you want to plug yourself to it, you can create a HikaShop plugin and implement the onHikashopCronTrigger function: [ www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/6...nHikashopCronTrigger](http://www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/62-hikashop-developer-documentation.html#onHikashopCronTrigger) Otherwise, if you want to configure a cron job to call a specific PHP script on your web server, you need to configure the cron as your hosting company offers. We have some documentation for the HikaShop cron: [ www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/5...ron-task.html#server](http://www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/55-hikashop-cron-task.html#server) So you might want to use a cron job somewhat similar but just changing the URL to point to your script.
