This happens by default when the order changes from the created status to the confirmed status. So, even by default, the invoice date and order date are not necessarily the same. If an order is paid with a bank transfer for example, and you confirm the order after you receive the bank transfer, both dates won't be the same. If you don't want the invoice number / date to be generated when the order is confirmed, you can tweak the statuses in the System / Order statuses menu. You'll want to look at the statuses under the "Invoice" column. Even if I have not confirmed, there is already an invoice and an invoice number. I can download an invoice for that open order. Thanks in advance")* Hi, Before we can properly look at your order statuses, we need to sort out a display problem on that page: the toggle icons of the Order statuses listing are not showing on your backend. Those icons (the publish/unpublish toggles and the ones under the Invoice, Locked, etc. columns) are drawn with Joomla's own FontAwesome icon font, not with images from HikaShop. When they appear blank, it almost always means Joomla's FontAwesome is not being loaded in your backend, and that is usually caused by a third party administrator template, or by a plugin interfering with the way Joomla loads its assets. An easy way to confirm: look at the rest of the Joomla backend, outside of HikaShop. If the trash icons, the toolbar icons or the left menu icons are also missing or broken, then the problem is Joomla wide and not specific to HikaShop. A couple of things you can try on your side: - Switch the administrator template back to the default one (Atum) in System > Templates > Administrator Templates if you're not using that default administrator template, then reload the Order statuses page. - Temporarily disable your third party system plugins (for example plugins of the group "system" related to your frontend template), then reload the page, to see which one brings the icons back. If you would like us to check it directly, please add a super administrator access to your backend and provide the credentials via our contact form with a link to this thread so that we can check on the situation, and we will find what is preventing the icons from loading. Once they are back, we will go through the Invoice column of your order statuses with you to set up the later invoice date you are after. I upgraded from an old 3.X Joomla installation with much custom styles. Overall , the symbols in Joomla Backend are ok. I have found in hikashop settings the option: system -> display css options -> Backend css file and changed from "custom" (backend_custom.css) to "default". It seems you've activated the "created" status under the Invoice column which means that the orders get their invoice number generated directly when the order is created. If that's not what you want, then you should disable this toggle.
