However I hadn't realised the previous site was still trying to get update. The previous site is today moved to Hikashop Starter to enable us to access the history of orders but it does not do sales any more. Traceroute runs fine from our webserver until it gets deep into Hikashop's server and then stops. Looks like- an obvious block by your server (perhaps because of the amount of times it got called as it failed in a Joomla upgrade?).  How do I arrange with you for you to stop blocking access to Hikashop from our public IP address so I can run upgrades? Currently these are blocked. I sent this message via a VPN as Hikashop.com won't open on our network at all due the block. Ce qui est bien pour le SEO, c'est de bien avoir l'URL principale du produit dans le champ &quot;URL canonique&quot; du produit. Ce n'est pas obligatoire, mais si le produit peut être accéder depuis plusieurs URLs sur votre site, c'est important de remplir ce champ. Par exemple, supposez que vous avez un produit &quot;Blouse dentelle noire&quot; dans la catégorie &quot;vêtements&quot; de votre site. Vous pouvez configurer un élément de menu avec l'alias &quot;vetements&quot; pour accéder au listing des sous catégories / produits de cette catégorie. Et supposez que vous ayez changé le &quot;Product SEF name&quot; de la configuration HikaShop de &quot;product&quot; à &quot;produits&quot; et que l'alias de votre produit est &quot;blouse-dentelle-noire&quot;. Cependant l'URL pour accéder au produit sera calculé en utilisant l'élément de menu courant et donc ce sera /reductions/produits/blouse-dentelle-noire Ce n'est pas un produit en soit, sauf que pour un moteur de recherche, il va voir deux URLs avec exactement le même contenu et va pénaliser votre site, pensant que vous essayez de tricher sur votre référencement. C'est là où l'URL canonique intervient. En renseignant /vetements/produits/blouse-dentelle-noire dans l'URL canonique du produit, vous dites aux moteurs de recherche que c'est cette URL qu'il faut référencer et qu'il faut ignorer les autres URLs permettant d'accéder au produit. Ainsi, votre site ne sera pas pénalisé, et l'URL qui sera visible dans les résultats des moteurs de recherche correspondra à ce que vous souhaitez, peu importe comment vous configurez d'autres éléments de menu ou modules permettant d'accéder au produit. Le seul vrai problème de tout cela, c'est le jour où vous voulez changer l'alias de l'élément de menu de &quot;vetements&quot; à &quot;habits&quot; par exemple. Là, il faut alors revoir l'URL canonique de tous les produits et sous catégories pour mettre à jour l'URL canonique.
