Do you have the hikashop history plugin published ? If not, then, the card information is not saved properly. That's a security measure so that even if you website is hacked, the credit card information the hacker would get wouldn't allow him to use it as he would have only half of it. The credit card plugin included in all the versions since then is working, so there is nothing to update if you have a recent version of HikaShop. If you don't get the order admin notification, it means that your email settings, either in the joomla configuration or in the hikashop configuration are not correct.
