What you want is to have only the first shipping method and set a max weight restriction in its options. (as with most of those head-scratching shipping rules) I am using the Manual shipping module in which I created shipping rules based on the French Colissimo system which is based on WEIGHT. I've got about 70 rules and it is working well as I have a weight for every product but NO dimensions as these are not standardised [varying physical shipping size for a same product]. However, the Colissimo system [as well as fast courriers] has SIZE restrictions [Les dimensions maximales sont telles que : L+l+h=150cm avec L=100cm] and an OVERSIZE acceptance limit [Dimensions maximales : 150cm < L+l+h ≤ 200 cm et/ou L > 100cm]. I only have a minute quantity of oversized products and I would have wished to avoid giving dimensions to ALL my products [I just found out I can!]. But, as far as I can figure out, I cannot avoid displaying the price or the "Livraison Gratuite" without a conditional rule for those items identified as oversized. I would have wished something like "sur devis" to appear instead. I think I will live with the system as is and adapt my messages for the time being. Thanks again. That's why I recommended that message solution. There is no Collissimo shipping plugin in the works for now.
