Hikashop comes with an option to include a file with a product, which I am assuming allows the buyer to download that file when they have completed their order. The trouble is, our client would like to use a service they already have an account with, called Secure E-Book ([ www.secure-ebook.com/](http://www.secure-ebook.com/)). That company does not provide a tie-in for external shopping carts, but they apparently have an SDK that allows developers to run keys and retrieve the secured files from their servers ([ www.secure-ebook.com/help/sdk](http://www.secure-ebook.com/help/sdk)). I have no idea how to go about doing this. Can anyone point me in the right direction, give some tips, or even help me figure out how to do this? Hikashop comes with an option...")* I think you can use HikaSerial with a special generator plugin. HikaSerial is a Joomla extension which work with HikaShop and which add "serial" features. [ www.hikashop.com/en/hikashop/hikaserial.html](http://www.hikashop.com/en/hikashop/hikaserial.html) HikaSerial have a generator plugin system. When an order is validated, the generator will create and assign a serial to the order (and so, to the customer). You can test HikaSerial in our demo website. Secure book gives several information : an activation code, and expiration date and a download url for the ebook (with the number of time that it is possible to download the ebook).
