This includes other error messages such as the error that says something along the lines of: no delivery methods available for the combined weight of your cart... And I guess also tying in with this question is how do I Stop the error message all together if I dont want the message to appear at all? Some templates have an option to hide them. For others, a simple display:none; CSS definition fo the class of the element around the messages is enough. But I can't say anything more precise without looking at that page with firebug. Otherwise, you could ask your template provider for that...
