Item B weight 2kg. By weight: If I have four item A in my cart, the cost will be the same as if I have one item B. In that case, create a manual shipping method for each range of weight with the corresponding price. By piece: In that case, the weight is not relevant. If it costs X to ship item A, if I have four item A it will cost 4*X, which might or might not be different than the shipping cost of Y for item B. In that case, create one manual shipping method with the option "shipping per product" activated and in each product, add a shipping fee for that shipping method for the product. In both cases, the shipping methods can be restricted to a zone. So just create additional shipping methods for the different zones where you have different shipping costs. You can potentially create additional shipping zones via the menu System->Zones. I basically ship per item but with different rates depending on the weight of the item. For example Item A weighs 500g and costs GBP4 to ship to UK. Item B weighs 1kg it costs GBP10 to ship to the uk. It could be that some customers will only order item A, whilst others will order A & B and others B only. What i need (by example) the system to be able to do is for a customer to be able to place an order for any of the above criteria shipped to either UK, Europe of World. When you sell by weight, the weight of all the products in the cart are summed, and it gives to the user the price corresponding to the weight range for the zone of the user. When you sell by piece, each item has a shipping price. The shipping prices of all the products in the cart are summed and it gives to the user that summed price for the zone of the user. In any case, you can set different weight ranges/prices for different zones. I have products A, B & C which are all shipped from the UK. 2. I then have products D, E & F which ship from the Netherlands. Is there a method for being able to assign these so only one shipping method is shown on the completed order? I would prefer by piece rather than weight. Also, what does that mean that two types of products are shipped from different locations ? Do they have different shipping prices ? What would be an example for each category ?
